RADAR, built by our team of technology experts, incorporates automation, computer vision, real-time video, and data analytics to help expert care providers connect to and provide care to patients. We have cared for nearly 70,000 intensive care patients across 17 states in India and saved numerous lives. JOB DESCRIPTION Cloudphysician is looking for a Critical Care Associate - Nurse with 5-10 years of critical care experience. They will work closely with intensivists, physicians, CCRNs and RNs. The successful candidate must be able to build strong working relationships and bring positive energy and curiosity to the position. 1. The CCA - Nurse, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, will be responsible for the care of intensive care patients (medical, cardiac, surgical, & pulmonary) and participate in inpatient care. 2. Provide clinical care to patients referred for Intensive Care, in coordination with the attending physician including appropriate history & documentation of consultation Care. 3. Ability & willingness to learn about critical care diseases including diagnosis and management. 4. Assist physicians in prescribing/ordering appropriate pharmacologic & non-pharmacologic interventions & develop a treatment plan. 5. Follow unit-specific protocols & deliver evidence-based care. 6. Explain medical procedures & plan of care to patients & families in the presence of a physician. Participate in teaching rounds, conferences, quality assurance programs & chart reviews. 7. Assignments will also include rotation to bedside hospitals as needed. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to Providing comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the smart ICU including, but not limited to, obtaining accurate patient history, performing complete physical exams, systematically ordering & interpreting diagnostic tests, & accurately documenting findings in the electronic medical record 8. Work collaboratively with the health care team including Pulmonary, Cardiology, Intensive care, & Surgery; anesthesiology other physicians involved in the critical care or surgery patient care units; nurses; case managers; physical & occupational therapists; & any other departments affecting the care of the critical care patient. 9. Experience with common ICU procedures including but not limited to enteral tube placement and removal, interpretation of electrocardiograms, and x-rays. Initiates appropriate referrals & consultations based on patient & family needs. 10. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, CCAs, nurses & other members of the healthcare team in an effective & inclusive manner. 11. Attend departmental meetings & professional training sessions as requested. 12. The CCA - Nurse, in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Education, works towards the development, and implementation of the curriculum. 13. Act as a clinical educator working with staff on relevant competencies & advanced practice skills as deemed necessary & at the direction of the supervising physician. 14. Serves as a preceptor & mentor for our critical care nursing team. 15. Participates in research projects within the practice area & identifies potential areas for nursing research. 16. Perform other related duties & participate in special projects as assigned. 17. If not ACLS certified within 6 months of assignment may be reassigned to a different unit.
