As a Backend Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement server-side logic, APIs, and services using Python. Ensure robust performance, security, and scalability of the application. Develop and maintain the user interface using React / React native. Implement responsive designs and ensure a seamless user experience. Work with relational and non-relational databases. Design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance. Connect front-end and back-end components and ensure data flows smoothly between them. Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality code. Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation for both front-end and back-end components. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in React, React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Expertise in Python, experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs. Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Proficient in using Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaboration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
