Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium for web application testing. Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to understand application functionality and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Execution of Tests: Execute functional, regression, and integration tests across web applications and report defects. Bug Reporting: Log, track, and validate defects in the defect management system, ensuring thorough communication with development teams. Continuous Integration: Integrate test scripts into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure automated testing is part of the development process. Performance Testing: Assist with performance testing and work on optimizing test scripts for speed and efficiency. Test Reporting: Provide detailed test results and reports to ensure quality metrics are available for team and stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with developers and other team members to troubleshoot issues, provide test feedback, and improve overall product quality. Documentation: Document test cases, test plans, and other QA artifacts clearly and maintain them as the product evolves. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and testing automation. Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python for test automation. Experience in automating functional, regression, and smoke tests. Technical Skills: Strong programming knowledge in Python. Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and browser automation tools. Experience with REST APIs testing and integration. Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Experience with test automation frameworks such as pytest, unittest, or similar. Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) and bug tracking systems. Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of different testing methodologies (manual, automated, functional, regression, integration, system, etc.). Ability to write clear and concise test cases and reports. CI/CD & Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, CircleCI, or other CI/CD tools for automated testing integration. Experience with containerization tools like Docker is a plus. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical team members. Preferred Skills: Experience with API Testing using tools like Postman, Requests, or RestAssured. Knowledge of JavaScript or other web technologies. Experience with cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.,
