Network Management
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.

System Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and software.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Ensure system security by implementing policies, monitoring access, and managing permissions.

Security and Compliance
- Protect the network and systems from threats by implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.
- Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

User Support
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Document resolutions and create user manuals or guides for common problems.

Infrastructure Optimization
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware, software, and technologies to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors for procurement and support.
- Plan and implement disaster recovery and business continuity measures.

Monitoring and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, systems, and procedures.
- Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and generate reports.

Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications may be considered.

Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in network/system administration or a related role.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Certifications (Preferred)
- CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, or similar credentials.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
