Software Development Engineer @ Amazon

Job Description

• We need to build an ecosystem of micro-services and workflows capable of processing transaction workloads of up to 3MM per day, totaling tens of billions of dollars per month.

• We are looking for engineers with the drive and enthusiasm to build with us the next generations of our products. This role includes very little ops, a great work/life balance, and the opportunity to solve a big problem for Amazon that impacts every business line.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years experience developing software
• Experience building products and services for scale
• Strong Service Orientated Architecture design knowledge
• Sound understanding of CS fundamentals: Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented design, data stores.
• Bachelor s degree in CS or related technical field
• Verbal and written proficiency in the English language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience architecting on AWS
• Java, Spring, REST/APIs, automated workflows, non-relational data stores
• Experience building in the Finance domain
