Position Overview Of The Senior Associate, Software Engineering The Senior Associate, Software Engineering will implement and support enterprise level software solutions for Mediant Communications Inc. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a small technical team to analyze understand and implement business requirements. Candidates must have strong skills in architecting Java software solutions, query writing, and stored procedure development. Job Responsibilities Produce design specifications from provided business requirements Develop and present technical implementation plans Implement software solutions meeting corporate coding standards Analyze applications, provide solutions for performance issues, solve complex problems Provide support to QA department during both internal and external product testing Perform developer testing ensuring delivery of accurate and reliable product delivery to QA Position Requirements/Qualifications Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience 3+ years of experience developing Java software 4+ years of J2EE application development experience (Servlets/JSP, JDBC, JavaMail, XML, XSLT, Velocity, Spring, Mybatis) Experience in web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX 2+ years of relational database experience (Preferably MSSQL/TSQL) Proven ability to troubleshoot software application Skills And Abilities Detail oriented, excellent analytical skills and good interpersonal skills Self-motivated and willing to learn and master new technologies Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work in fast paced, high-pressure environment Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving skills Self-motivated and willing to learn and master new technologies,
