- Job Description At D IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we seek an experienced and driven WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, emphasizing WooCommerce, plugin development, and core WordPress functionality. Your contributions will help us create high-performing, scalable websites and eCommerce platforms for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Plugin Development: Create and maintain custom WordPress plugins that improve functionality, ensuring they are fully compatible with core WordPress and WooCommerce updates. Core WordPress Customization: Extend WordPress features through custom coding to meet specific client requirements, ensuring a fully customized and optimized experience. Theme Development & Customization: Build and customize responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress themes, ensuring seamless integration with WooCommerce. Collaborative Development: Work closely with designers, project managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, performance-driven solutions. Performance Optimization: Optimize WooCommerce websites and other WordPress installations for speed, performance, and scalability. Troubleshooting & Debugging: Resolve issues related to WooCommerce, plugins, and core WordPress functionalities to ensure smooth and secure website operations. Version Control & Code Review: Ensure code quality by using Git or other version control systems and participating in peer code reviews. Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress, WooCommerce, and web development trends to continuously improve and implement new technologies. Take ownership of full-stack development, from concept to deployment, while actively participating in code reviews and maintaining code integrity. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, actively integrating new tools and best practices into our development process. Requirements Qualifications: Proficiency in WordPress & WooCommerce: Extensive knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce core, including plugin and theme development (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL). Plugin Development Experience: Proven track record in building custom plugins for WordPress and WooCommerce, adhering to WordPress coding standards. Custom Theme Development: Experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes, particularly for WooCommerce-based sites. Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git or similar version control systems. Problem-solving skills: Ability to debug and resolve complex issues in WooCommerce and WordPress Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using the Laravel framework. Solid understanding of database systems and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to creatively address challenges and find innovative solutions. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to software development.
