The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional development experience, specializing in creating sophisticated desktop applications with rich, interactive user interfaces. As a Senior C# Developer, you will play a key role in driving application development with advanced C# programming and WPF expertise, working on critical projects with a focus on performance optimization, UI responsiveness, and UI/UX best practices. You will also contribute to the architecture, maintenance, and enhancement of complex desktop applications that are deployed for end-user consumption. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Develop high-quality Windows desktop applications using C# and WPF, with a focus on rich, user-friendly graphical interfaces. UI/UX Design: Design and implement visually appealing user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with modern design standards. MVVM Architecture: Apply the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) design pattern to separate UI logic from business logic and ensure maintainable, testable, and scalable code. Optimization: Focus on application performance, memory management, and responsiveness by using advanced C# and WPF features. Troubleshooting & Debugging: Address and resolve complex issues in both development and production environments, especially performance bottlenecks and UI rendering problems. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to integrate new features and functionalities. Lifecycle Management: Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and post-deployment support. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development process. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, release notes, and test plans. Client Interaction: Engage with clients and stakeholders, gathering feedback and providing updates on project progress, design, and functionality. Key Requirements: Experience: 10+ years of software development experience. Proven track record of building Windows desktop applications using C# and WPF. Technical Skills: Advanced C# Programming: Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP), asynchronous programming, memory management, and handling complex scenarios in C#. WPF Framework: Expertise in creating sophisticated user interfaces using WPF and understanding its architecture, layout systems, event-driven programming, and advanced controls. MVVM Pattern: Strong experience in the MVVM design pattern for creating scalable, testable, and maintainable applications. UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of designing user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing, with attention to detail and performance. Desktop Application Lifecycle: Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance, with experience in large-scale applications. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Expertise in debugging complex issues related to UI rendering, performance, and memory management. Additional Skills: Experience with performance optimization, resource management, and making UI applications more responsive. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and source code management best practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Preferred: Experience with additional frameworks like .NET Core or UWP (Universal Windows Platform). Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and integration with cloud services. Exposure to unit testing, CI/CD, and agile development methodologies. Desired Personal Attributes: Leadership: Ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers.
