Role Description This is a contract ETL Developer (Abinitio) role at Big MNC (ITES) based in Pune /Chennai/Bangalore with the flexibility for some remote work. The ETL Developer will be responsible for "Extract Transform Load (ETL)" processes, utilizing ETL Tools, applying Analytical Skills, Data Integration, and Data Modeling. The role involves a hybrid work setup, allowing some work from home. Job Responsibility - Understand business requirements and translate them into data mapping requirement documents. - Create new data models for data marts. - Provide ETL design mapping and development support. - Act as an interface for teams, supporting technology (ETL) teams in understanding data both technically and functionally. - Validate data requirement solutions against business needs. - Perform data profiling on newly onboarded source systems. - Conduct data reconciliation between source and target systems. - Engage in exploratory data analysis and feature engineering for machine learning use cases. - Enhance data capabilities, including people and technology. - Gain a comprehensive understanding of data to support business use cases. - Collaborate with product owners, business BAs, and tech teams to ensure complete data understanding and documentation. - Generate insights from data without needing specific requirements from the business. - Present insights to management and stakeholders, such as improved customer experience, cost reduction, increased revenue, and better colleague experience. - Support the development of a data-driven strategy for sales, cost reduction, and customer service. - Foster partnerships with external parties for knowledge transfer, upskilling, and joint project opportunities. - Help define and lead the strategic technical direction for data. - Maintain a strong grasp of the E2E process and understand the complete business process. - Manage relationships with key program stakeholders at senior and peer levels within the program community. - Take accountability for managing task assignments, workload, tracking deliverables, and monitoring progress of partner teams. - Report accurate delivery status in a timely and informative manner, with a focus on improving team effectiveness. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of ETL-dependent technologies such as Ab Initio Co Op, Ab Initio Conduct It, and A I Enterprise Meta Environment. - Possess relevant hands-on experience with Ab Initio. - Experience with relational databases like Oracle SQL Server and PL/SQL. - Understand Agile methodologies and SDLC life cycles and processes. - Expertise in ETL technology, including Ab Initio and Hadoop. - Expertise in UNIX scripts, DB, and TWS. - Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes. - Proficiency in requirement gathering, analysis, and other SDLC phases. - Coding expertise with middleware principles. - Ability to understand business requirements and design software solutions. - Strong data analysis skills and ability to present findings to business users. - Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. - Demonstrated ability to communicate and build relationships with business and technology communities.
