Job Description
We are looking for a Data Science Manager with strong expertise in PySpark and Forecasting to lead and drive advanced analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale data processing, time series forecasting models, and cloud-based data platforms. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership abilities to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy scalable forecasting models.
- Build big data pipelines using PySpark for processing large datasets efficiently.
- Design and implement time series forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify forecasting needs and improve predictive accuracy.
- Optimize ETL workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and storage in cloud environments.
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of forecasting models in production environments.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in forecasting, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and big data analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing and pipeline development.
- Expertise in forecasting techniques (time series analysis, statistical modeling, deep learning).
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, or other distributed computing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and model deployment in production environments.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
