Business Unit- Willow TV The business for past two years have also setting up the live cricket broadcasting business in the region of Middle East, South East Asia, Australia etc. Role The primary purpose of this position is to manage accounting activities, ensuring that proper accounting & recording of company transactions are performed in an accurate and timely manner. Producing financial and other key reports for management. Develop and implement process and internal controls system around billing, collection and tax matters for Willow TV and its related entities. Responsibilities: Revenue Recognition from revenue arising from contracts with cable operators, digital subscribers, broadcasters and other syndication partners. Booking of expenses including cost of cricket matches as per the actual schedules and other provision of expenses during month/year end. Preparation & updating of intercompany service agreements & raising of intercompany invoices Preparation of Projected Financial Statement including cash flow projections Preparation of Financial Statement for Annual Audit of Books of Accounts Interface with external financial auditors & compliance advisors to ensure that they have the necessary financial information to complete periodic jurisdiction-specific filings US State Sales tax compliance for the digital subscription business US/Canada/UK Annual Tax returns and Transfer pricing compliances Monthly MIS reports should be produced on a consolidated basis for the business, as well as broken out on geographical segments. Skills Required Working experience in a similar management position Excellent knowledge of accounting, reporting and taxation Experienced candidate who has been part of teams working across multiple global locations specifically working in US & UK legislations Strong analytical and data driven problem solving abilities Ability to work in a large transactional environment with an eye for automation Strong team player with good team management skills Background and Experience Bachelors Degree in finance with MBA/ CA Strong credentials in multi-tasking, facing challenges and delivering timely results Ability to work in dynamic and pressure situations Experience in statutory reporting & compliances under international accounting regulations Work Location The candidate will be operating from the Times Internet Noida office and may have to work also from Gurgaon office as per the requirement of the job.,
