As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you will be at the forefront of solving complex problems, applying state-of-the-art techniques to drive the future of semiconductor advancements. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer with a deep understanding of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning algorithms to solve complex industry problems in the semiconductor space. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement next-generation vision systems, playing a critical role in advancing the semiconductor manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of computer vision solutions to improve semiconductor manufacturing processes, including inspection, defect detection, and quality control. Apply deep learning, machine learning, and image processing techniques to solve complex real-world problems in high-volume production environments. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including hardware engineers, data scientists, and domain experts, to ensure seamless integration of vision systems into semiconductor processes. Develop, optimize, and deploy algorithms for real-time image analysis, including defect detection, classification, segmentation, and pattern recognition. Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning, applying cutting-edge techniques to continuously improve system performance and efficiency. Work on optimizing computer vision algorithms for hardware accelerators such as GPUs, FPGAs, or specialized vision processors. Lead performance benchmarking, testing, and validation of computer vision systems within semiconductor manufacturing environments. Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to their professional growth and fostering a collaborative engineering culture. Drive innovation by proposing new solutions, and continuously evaluating and improving the existing processes and algorithms. Required Qualifications: Deep expertise in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, or image processing. Expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe) and computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image). Strong background in algorithm development for image processing, defect detection, and real-time vision systems. Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the role of computer vision in improving production efficiency and quality control. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB. Experience with hardware integration and optimizing algorithms for high-performance computing platforms (e.g., GPUs, FPGAs). Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex, real-world challenges in the semiconductor domain. Proven ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with semiconductor-specific vision systems or automated inspection technologies. Knowledge of image segmentation, object recognition, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition techniques in semiconductor applications. Familiarity with industrial vision systems and automated inspection tools used in semiconductor manufacturing. Experience with cloud-based image processing platforms and distributed computing systems. Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques.
