The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Shopify, including custom theme development, app integration, and API usage. You will be responsible for building and customizing Shopify stores, ensuring high performance, and delivering exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure the seamless delivery of e-commerce projects. Core Competencies: 5-6 years of experience in Shopify development and customization. Proficiency in Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. Experience with Shopify REST API and GraphQL API. Hands-on experience with Shopify theme development and customization. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Ability to optimize Shopify stores for performance and SEO. Strong knowledge of Shopify apps and third-party integrations. Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira). Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. Problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently Level Skills: Experience in developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify themes, including modifying pre-built themes or building custom themes from scratch. Proficient in Shopifys Liquid language for customizing themes and templates. Experience in working with the Shopify REST API and GraphQL API for custom features or integrations. Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and experience with libraries like jQuery. Familiarity with React or Vue.js is a plus. Ability to implement dynamic features and optimize data exchanges using AJAX and JSON. Familiarity with Shopify Plus capabilities like Flow, Script Editor, and wholesale/B2B channel support. Experience in building custom Shopify apps using Node.js, PHP, or Ruby. Proficiency in using Git for version control, managing code repositories, and collaborating on projects. Familiarity with Shopifys product catalog, variants, collections, and inventory management. Experience in optimizing or customizing Shopifys checkout process (especially if working with Shopify Plus). Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide updates. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging theme and app issues.
