Job Description

Title : Data Migration Specialist Job Description Responsibilities : Plan, execute, and manage data migration projects from legacy systems to D365 F&O. Develop and implement data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data sources and determine mapping requirements. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure successful data migration. Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner. Document data migration processes, procedures, and best practices. Provide training and support to end-users on data migration-related activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in data migration roles. Proven experience in data migration projects, specifically with D365 F&O. Experience with project management tools (i.e Azure DevOps), Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools (i.e. Azure Synapse Analytics, SSIS) Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bonus: Experience in discrete manufacturing and multiple previous D365 F&O deployments from various ERP environments. (ref:hirist.tech),
