Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Web Development with expertise in custom post types, WordPress taxonomy, and data architecture to lead high-performance website development. You will play a key role in designing scalable solutions, managing integrations, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless digital experience. Key Responsibilities: Website Architecture & Development: Analyze requirements, design data structures, and develop scalable solutions using WordPress. Custom WordPress Development: Create and optimize custom post types, taxonomies, and relational databases. Security & Compliance: Implement TLS/SSL and other security measures, address vulnerabilities, and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaboration & Leadership: Work with UI/UX, content strategy, and external development teams to maintain a cohesive digital presence. Technical Oversight: Manage APIs, repositories, website migrations, search customizations, and backend processes. Creative Direction: Oversee content production teams to deliver structured, engaging visual narratives. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Ensure peak performance by proactively identifying and resolving site issues. Technical Expertise: Advanced WordPress development, PHP development including multisite networks, themes, and child themes. Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, MySQL, Linux, and Apache. Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure. Strong knowledge of web security best practices and authentication protocols. Expertise in Adobe Suite, W3C standards, and CMS platforms. Preferred experience in object-oriented programming.
