Job Description
- As part of our Professional Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications, focusing on ETL tools, data platforms, and BI solutions. With 5+ years of experience in software testing, this is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with global teams, clients, and partners to drive innovative testing strategies, ensure seamless data integration, and validate business-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: Testing Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute robust testing strategies for ETL pipelines, data platforms, and BI tools, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops to discover, analyze, and document technical and business requirements for comprehensive test coverage. End-to-End Testing: Conduct functional, non-functional, system integration, and regression testing for ETL tools and BI dashboards. Defect Management: Identify, log, and resolve defects to meet client and project requirements. Test Automation: Develop automated test scripts for ETL processes and BI applications to enhance testing efficiency. Documentation: Prepare detailed test cases, plans, scripts, and defect reports to provide insights into system performance and reliability. Production Support: Lead efforts in resolving production issues, validating patches, and ensuring seamless system functionality. Collaboration: Work closely with clients, developers, and analysts to align testing efforts with project goals. Required Skills & Experience: Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on ETL, data platforms, and BI tools. Technical Tools: ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory, Informatica Testing Tools: SQL Server, ADLS, Databricks, ADF, Microsoft Office, PBI Testing BI Development Tools: Power BI Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL Expertise: Strong experience in functional, performance, and regression testing. Proficiency in validating data transformations, integrations, and BI dashboards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong documentation and communication skills to convey testing results and insights to stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for data and BI testing. Knowledge of Power BI development and testing practices. Experience with test automation for ETL and BI pipelines. Consulting experience with enterprise clients.,
