The Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer on our Data & Analytics team, youll help us build out our reporting products by developing high-impact, user-facing features, as well as maintaining and improving our various reporting pipelines. You will lead projects, coach junior engineers, and help lead the direction of the team. In our growing engineering organization, youll be developing and shipping new features and updates to Employ's product. Youll be learning about our real-time web stack UI frameworks that help us deliver a beautiful and high-quality solution to our customers. You will also be working with industry-standard technologies to deliver accurate reporting data to our customers quickly and efficiently. You will work collaboratively with product managers, data engineers, and designers to drive the implementation and release of major features, and be a champion of best practices for writing well-tested, well-organized code. What Youll Do As a member of the Data & Analytics team, youll also be working on reporting services, user experience and data pipeline Engage in on-call rotation in Support Engineering to help diagnose and resolve production problems and customer issues. Write internal documentation for your features and systems so other engineers and stakeholders are brought along with your decisions. Participate in product development process and ship your first feature to customers. Understand the product at scale and be able to provide input to improve our technical systems and tools; Assist your peers in best practices. Be responsible for the planning, scoping, design, and implementation of new features. Build, launch, and support features. Youll partner cross-functionally with Product and Design and focus on keeping your stakeholders apprised of progress and updates. What Youll Bring 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a tech company with a track record of delivering software with high business impact with experience in both front end and backend technologies 2+ years of technical leadership experience, including leading technical design and successfully executing on projects 2+ years Front end experience; experience with React a plus Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Great verbal and written communication skills Willingness to pair program, collaborate with teammates, and solve problems together Experience with Scrum or other agile development Experience building enterprise software preferred,
