Job Description

Job Title: Database Engineer Key Responsibilities: Database Schema Management: Oversee and manage database schema changes, ensuring data structure and integrity are maintained. Database Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application functionality and performance. Application Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application-related database issues, ensuring seamless performance. Data Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and correct data issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Application Support: Provide ongoing support for application tasks including scheduler management, job monitoring, and troubleshooting database-related issues. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the database architecture aligns with overall application requirements and performance objectives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Previous experience as an SQL Developer, Database Developer, or a similar role working with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. Strong knowledge of database development, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with database administration (DBA) tasks such as backup and recovery, replication, and disaster recovery. Knowledge of version control systems and deployment automation for database changes.,
