Job Description

Dear Candidate, We are looking for Engineer - New Product Development, Pune Location. Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead the development of new products, from initial concept through to production, with a focus on injection moulding. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure product designs are feasible and meet all technical requirements. Design and specify moulds for new products, including material selection, design for manufacturability, and process optimization. Work with mould makers and suppliers to develop and refine moulds, ensuring they meet product specifications and quality standards. Develop and optimize injection moulding processes to enhance product quality, reduce cycle times, and lower production costs. Implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues related to moulding processes and equipment. Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Experience with advanced moulding technologies (E.g., multi-material moulding, micro-moulding). Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to injection moulding and product safety. Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience is advantageous. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in injection moulding. Explore and recommend new materials, processes, and technologies to enhance product performance and manufacturability.
