- About SayaCare: SayaCare is a rapidly growing ePharmacy focused on providing high-quality, tested generic medicines to customers across India. Our mission is to ensure affordable healthcare for all, leveraging technology to create a seamless, scalable, and reliable platform for medication delivery. Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Technical Lead to join SayaCare. As the Technical Lead, you will guide our development team and play a critical role in overhauling our architecture for scalability, reliability, and performance. Youll work closely with the CEO/CTO and lead a team of skilled engineers, driving key technical initiatives and maintaining high standards across our technology stack. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 4 engineers (mid-level and junior), guiding them through best practices, code reviews, and project execution. Architecture Overhaul: Collaborate closely with the CEO/CTO on a significant server and architecture overhaul to improve scalability and performance. Project Management: Own the technical delivery of key projects from concept to deployment, ensuring high code quality, reliability, and timely delivery. Technology Strategy: Influence technical decisions, select the right tools and technologies, and set best practices for a growing engineering team. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution. Hands-on Development: Contribute actively to coding and problem-solving, especially in critical areas like Node.js, React, Angular, and Java. System Optimization: Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and resilience, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions. Mentorship and Growth: Provide mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers, fostering an environment of learning, collaboration, and technical excellence. Key Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with expertise in Node.js, React, Next, Angular, and Java. Previous experience as a Tech Lead or in a similar role is preferred. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and familiarity with other technologies like R and Python used across our business. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and mentoring small teams, driving technical initiatives, and maintaining high engineering standards. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems in a fast-paced environment. Scalability Focus: Experience with architecting systems for high scalability and reliability, especially in rapidly growing startups or similar environments. Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making. Nice-to-Have: Experience in the ePharmacy, healthcare, or eCommerce sectors. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices.
