Job Description
- Position Summary: This position will provide technical and functional support to the business users on their day-today operations and enhancements, in the area of Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling, using Oracle ASCP/GOP, Demantra and Oracle EBS. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide day-to-day production support to business users on Oracle VCP suite - ASCP, GOP and Demantra, and Oracle EBS related to Planning and Scheduling. Build and leverage relationships with internal and external business partners to deliver Supply Chain Planning solutions, using Oracle EBS and VCP Understand assigned business process areas, becoming a subject matter expert in day-to-day operations and activities Resolve incidents, service requests within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information, finding root cause, developing alternative solutions, and working well in both individual and group problem solving situations Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis, and speak to business impacts For new enhancements, work on proof of concept using Oracle VCP/EBS. Manage small to large software/process implementation projects using HNI project management methodology Develop Technical specifications to describe RICEW (reports, interface, conversion, enhancements/extension and workflow) needs, and gap analysis and develop use cases, testing scenarios, and mock-ups/prototypes for projects Provide quality assurance, testing and updates to test plans and script documents as needed Prepare and deliver communications to various audiences, including business and IT leadership Required Skills Strong knowledge in PL/SQL, to write complex queries to troubleshoot issues and for customization's Support or implementation experience in Oracle VCP & EBS R12 (12.2.6+ preferred) Experience in troubleshooting Order promising using GOP Experience in writing MD50/MD70 for custom solutions Experience in functional and regression testing Proficiency working with Oracle Support (raising SRs, escalating SRs etc.) Experience in CTO model-based planning preferred Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Management / S&OP, Oracle Inventory Optimization, Oracle Order Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inventory preferred Key Capabilities- Self-motivated, internally driven Analytical capability, including analyzing problems and creating solutions in a fast-paced environment Communication skills, including clearly and concisely expressing professional opinions with supporting rationale Resilience, including ability to perform well in periods of peak workload, including coping with multiple priorities without loss of efficiency or composure Able to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems to provide data processing and procedural enhancements Ability to effectively present information and training in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other members of the organization,
