About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Head - Product Quality for one of the leading mechatronic products manufacturing companies for the automotive / off-highway / engines industry. Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to represent the company to customers for all field quality aspects. The person will take ownership of field failure rate and issues with customers. Key Responsibilities The person will represent the company to customers for all field quality aspects. The person will take ownership of field failure rate and issues with customers The person will coordinate with projects and programs leads internally towards achieving and maintaining field quality targets, will identify and raise risks to the Management if any The person will liaison with Engineering and Manufacturing teams towards the analysis of field failures, causes, and corrective and preventive actions The person will proactively work with the Engineering design team to ensure all potential causes of field failure are addressed at the design stage based on experience and past learnings The person will prepare reports and attend meetings with customers for regular review of quality and any specific issues The person will maintain statistics and prepare reports for regular review of field quality with the Management Educational Qualifications And Experience He should be BE/Btech in Electronics. MBA will be preferred. Candidate with a good academic track record. A minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in customer quality/product quality.,
