Whether it's developing a website with X-Factor, optimizing online visibility, or creating innovative solutions like mobile apps or software, Elephant in the Boardroom provides the strategy and technical expertise to support business goals. Role Overview: As a PHP Developer with WordPress skills, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and websites using PHP and WordPress. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create efficient, high-quality code and ensure seamless functionality. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web applications and websites using PHP and WordPress. Customize and optimize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to PHP and WordPress. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Key Requirements: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in PHP development. Strong experience with WordPress, including theme and plugin development. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with database management using MySQL or similar. Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor).
