Roles And Responsibilities Own and Deliver Mission-Critical Systems: Take full ownership of backend systems and services, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade performance, scalability, and security standards. Build & Architect Enterprise Ready Solutions: Design and implement APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure tailored for Build-Your-Own-Cloud (BYOC) and On-Premise service models. Drive Enterprise Integrations: Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate their systems into enterprise workflows while adhering to compliance, scalability, and robustness standards. Develop and Enhance Tooling: Build enterprise-grade tools to support seamless integrations and operations, with a focus on efficiency and user-friendliness. Optimize System Performance: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and develop strategies to enhance performance using efficient algorithms and architecture designs. Mentor Engineering Talent: Guide and coach team members on best practices for backend, enterprise integrations, and full-stack development, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Champion Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with enterprise standards for privacy and data protection. Stay at the Forefront of Innovation: Continuously research and implement emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices in enterprise engineering. Desired Skills And Experience A minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in Backend Engineering and building On-Prem/BYOC systems for Enterprises Excellent problem-solving, architecture, and algorithm design skills Extensive experience building complex, large-scale web applications with modern backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, etc.) Strong experience with database design, optimization, querying, and Storage Engineering (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, HELM, Kubernetes etc. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent) and on-premise infrastructure Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for enterprise-grade solutions Experience enterprise authentication methods (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) Basic Understanding of front-end technologies such as React, HTML, and CSS to ensure smooth collaboration with frontend teams Expertise in building tooling and frameworks for enterprise integrations and maintenance Exceptional technical communication and collaboration skills, capable of achieving successful outcomes with colleagues at all levels, from junior engineers to senior executives,
