Role : Senior Software Engineer (IoT, C++/Linux, Matter Protocol) Location : Ahmedabad (Full-Time, On-Site) Shape The Future Of Smart Homes We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead firmware development for our Linux-based IoT hubs. This role focuses on integrating the Matter protocol, voice assistants, AI analytics, and video processing to create cutting-edge smart home solutions. About Us Mantra Softech, a leader in biometric and RFID solutions, is expanding into IoT. We're building platforms that drive secure, seamless smart home experiences with the latest IoT standards. What You'll Do Firmware Development : Build and optimize firmware for embedded Linux systems, from board bring-up to app-level features. IoT Protocols : Implement and fine-tune Matter and Thread protocols for secure, device-to-device communication. Connectivity : Develop networking (Wi-Fi/Ethernet/Thread), cloud (MQTT, HTTPS), and OTA pipelines. Voice Assistants : Integrate Google Assistant and Alexa for smart device control. AI & Video : Embed AI analytics and video frameworks for monitoring and content streaming. Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with hardware, app, and IoT teams to refine system architecture. What We Need 3+ years of C/C++ development on Linux-based embedded systems. Experience or interest in Matter/Thread protocols. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, cloud integration, and OTA. Experience with voice assistant integration is a plus. Proficiency in Git/SVN, JIRA, and agile workflows. (ref:hirist.tech),
