If you want to advance the world of fintech, wed like to ask you: Are you FIS What you will be doing Design, implement, and maintain database systems and structures. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Perform database performance tuning and optimization. Ensure data integrity and security in all database environments. Monitor database systems to ensure high availability and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and guidelines. Review existing application DB PL/SQL and Stored procedures to recommend any improvement. Review and guide the rest of the development team to improve solutions. Execution of integration test and validation of test results, extending product support for Production and UAT. Nice to have - Installs/Configure and Maintains SQL Server(2016,2017, 2019) and manages older version of SQL Server(2012, 2014). What you bring 6+ years of strong experienceof SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) Good knowledge on SQL Server Architecture. Proficiency in PL/SQL programming language and stored procedures. Experience in database model design and development. Experience with database design principles and best practices. Familiarity with performance tuning techniques to optimize database performance. Ability to vaticinate potential issues or bottlenecks in the database environment. Knowledge of high availability strategies for database systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Working experience preferably in the financial services industry. Knowledge of end-to-end systems, development life cycles, i.e., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile and other modern approaches to software development. Experience of using project management tools like JIRA and Confluence etc Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc. Knowledege on Standalone, Failover Clustering and Always on environments. Added bonus if you have Fluent in English. Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion. Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for FIS clients. Attention to detail. Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements. Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
