Job Description
- If you want to build a product from scratch at a startup - this is your opportunity. Our focus will be in-house teams first, followed by building POCs for other companies in the MENA region. Specific technology would be python, react, java, virtualization, container mgmt and deployment, etc. You will be the founding engineer (intern). Office will be in Chennai and you will be expected to come into work 5 days a week (exceptions for remote work will be made on a case by case basis). Long term growth will depend on the success of our startup and our POCs. At the very minimum - you would have gained insights into how to build a 0 to 1 product. This experience is far more valuable than an internship at FAANG buidling dud things that get thrown away at the end of your internship. And if the POC is successful, you would be offered a full time role with compensation and benefits at or better than industry standards . Compensation will vary depending on interviews, your school projects and work experience. Roles and Responsibilities: Proficiency in Python programming language. Strong understanding of front-end and server-side technologies. Design and implement RESTful APIs to support our front-end applications and integrate with our AI services Develop and integrate applications with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other enterprise services using Python. Solid grasp of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and performant web applications using React and TypeScript Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and AI integration Desired Candidate Profile: Experience with building applications with retrieval-augmented generation. Deep understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and document flow within AI systems. Expertise in prompt logic, output sanitization, and entity-based query logic for efficient AI response generation. Strong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and how they integrate with AI-driven solutions. Experience working in CI/CD environments, using tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Reach and modern front end full stack web development Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation Proficient in Python for AI model development and scripting tasks.
