- Position Summary: The Role of Senior Database Administrator provides hands-on expertise, you will be responsible for Resolving incidents including major incidents (production and non-production systems) and analysis of the problem to find a permanent fix, Delivery and maintenance of complex database landscapes by providing technical expertise and support. Working with IT Leadership to understand needs & prioritize IT demands. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: General Candidate should be a database expert with at least 8 to 10 years of experience handling, SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Linux & Windows. Working knowledge in SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Linux, Windows, SCOM. Develop and maintain system documentation for all database instances and interfaces. Handle day-to-day activities of the engineering team using Agile/Scrum methodology. Prioritize work for your team, making difficult tradeoffs on design based on business constraints, ensuring on-time deliverables and high-quality software. Good Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and Postgres databases, good knowledge in one or more of the following products Commvault, Idera Compliance Manager, SQL SentryOne Tools, OpenText, Windows Services, Azure DevOps, TOMCAT, IIS, Business Connector Exposure to ITIL framework Establish Metrics, Key Performance Indicators to improve the performance of IT operations. Area of Expertise, Requirements Experience with Database Implementation, Upgrade, and Migration (OS&DB Projects. Should have experience in handling multiple projects and supporting complex landscapes. Must have database Installation & Administration experience, and provide direction on different computing models such as IAAS, PAAS, SAAS with database application and cloud products such as AWS, Azure, Experience of safeguarding Customer relationship. Interface with Internal & external Audit & Sox controls. Experience in database Administration and monitoring, Multitenant database, optimization & capacity planning. Experience in Database upgrade, restore, recovery and replication Led strategic decisions and establish the roadmap for making database technology advancements such as cloud-based solutions. Candidate must have administration, support and project activities (DevOps) activities hands-on experience. Education Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant fields. Work Experience Should have experience in Team & support partner Management. Candidate should have effective communication, and Candidate should be flexible to work in different time zone. Experience to collaborate and working with large international support teams. Proven background in large-scale project delivery, maintenance, and support. Capability to envision, architect and deliver quality integrated solutions consisting of non-SAP applications. Languages English, additional language preferred,
