Job Description

Design And Collaborate Support interdisciplinary projects involving large numbers of developers and consultants, while working very tightly with our internal IT Services team Identify automation opportunities and drive automation to increase database, data stores and data pipelines performance and value-add Drive and champion database best practices, their knowledge management and facilitate training to platform teams on database technologies and data integration methodologies Build And Operate Build database solutions of high availability and quality align to internal stakeholder requirements Configure, maintain, optimize databases and ensure data access and infrastructure controls are in place to safeguard against data losses and data breaches Assist developers in identifying and correcting database-related issues. Support platform owners in driving efficiency of database procedures for responsible business applications Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards Manage and monitor DB performance, database health and security posture Perform regular database maintenance, patches, data quality checks and troubleshooting activities You Have The Following Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field : AWS Certified : AWS Database Specialty Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate 5+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in the financial industry Practical experience of at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc. Practical experience with Database Access Management and Database Security (DB Hardening, DB Audit, DB Policies, etc.) Practical experience with MS SQL Server database administration including management of "Always On Availability groups" Practical experience MS SQL Server performance optimization Excellent communicator with team-oriented approach Desired Experience with workload automation scheduling tools like Control-M Experience with PostgreSQL Strong programming skills with advanced knowledge of Python and other languages (ref:hirist.tech),
