- Job Title:** Java Backend Developer (Insurance Portal Development) Experience:** 4 - 10 Years Note:** Candidates can be relocated to other onsite locations - Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore (subject to their preference & performance) ### **Job Overview:** We are seeking skilled Java Backend Developers with 4-10 years of experience to join our team for an insurance portal development project. The role involves working on backend processes for features such as customer onboarding, claims processing, and policy management. If youre experienced in building scalable backend systems and are excited about working in the insurance tech sector, this role is a great fit for you. ### **Key Responsibilities:** Backend Development:** Develop and maintain backend services for the insurance portal, including customer onboarding, claims management, and policy administration. API Development:** Design and implement RESTful APIs that support both internal and external access for core insurance functionalities. Database Management:** Manage and optimize database queries for the portal, ensuring data integrity and security. Performance Optimization:** Work on performance tuning and scalability of backend services to handle high volumes of traffic. Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality output. Qualifications Experience:** 4-10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. Technical Skills:** Strong proficiency in Java, with a solid understanding of core Java and J2EE technologies. Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC). Proficient in RESTful API design and development. Familiar with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including ORM frameworks like Hibernate. Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Nice-to-Have:** Previous experience in insurance or financial domains, especially in customer onboarding, claims processing, or policy management. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, and JIRA. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
