Job Description

Location: Virar, Mumbai Job Overview: Akdron Technology is looking for a Mid-Level WordPress & PHP Developer with strong experience in WordPress development, PHP, and PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. The ideal candidate should be able to build and maintain custom WordPress solutions, develop backend applications, and optimize website performance while ensuring security and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins. Build and enhance PHP-based web applications using Laravel or CodeIgniter. Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and security best practices. Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed. Work with MySQL databases, including queries and optimizations. Debug and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress and custom PHP applications. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers. Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and WordPress technologies. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in WordPress development. Strong proficiency in PHP, with experience in Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks. Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery). Experience with MySQL and database management. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Understanding of security best practices for WordPress and PHP applications. Ability to work independently and solve technical challenges. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX. Familiarity with Gutenberg block development. Basic understanding of modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
