Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, Tally, and Excel, along with basic knowledge of TDS and GST. As a key member of the accounting team, you will contribute to the smooth running of daily accounting operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Daily Transaction Recording: Accurately record sales, purchases, and expenses in Tally on a daily basis to maintain up-to-date financial records. Accounting Data Preparation: Prepare and organize accounting data in accordance with instructions from the Finance Head for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Expense Verification and Review: Assist in verifying and reviewing expenses to ensure all transactions are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies. TDS and GST Support: Collaborate with the team to prepare and review monthly deliverables related to TDS and GST, ensuring all tax-related transactions are in compliance with statutory regulations. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and supporting documents. Ensure consistency and integrity in all financial reports and filings. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior finance team members to streamline accounting processes and resolve discrepancies. Financial Reporting: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Requirements: Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field (preferred). Experience: 3-10 years of accounting experience, ideally in an organization with a similar scale and operations. Proficiency in Software: Advanced proficiency in Tally and MS Excel, with a solid understanding of accounting software tools. Tax Knowledge: Basic understanding of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax), with a clear grasp of applicable regulations and compliance requirements. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, errors, and areas for process improvement. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, displaying strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
