We partner with over 20 tech and 150 business partners, spanning 50+ countries to deliver solutions in areas like fintech, regtech, e-governance, and cybersecurity. Responsibilities Database Installation & Configuration Setting up database management systems (DBMS) like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc. Performance Tuning & Optimization Monitoring and improving database performance using indexing, query optimization, and resource allocation. Backup & Recovery Implementing robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to prevent data loss. Security & Access Control Managing user roles, permissions, and encryption to protect sensitive data. Replication & High Availability Ensuring data redundancy and failover mechanisms to minimize downtime. Data Integrity & Consistency Enforcing database constraints and normalization to maintain data quality. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues proactively. Automation & Scripting Writing SQL scripts, stored procedures, and automation tools for database maintenance. Upgrades & Patch Management Applying patches and updates to keep the database software secure and efficient. Collaboration & Documentation Working with developers, DevOps, and system administrators while documenting database policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and other database technologies Experience with database servers such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server Strong understanding of database design, normalization techniques, and data modeling Knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus Ability to vaticinate potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent them Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to smash complex problems,
