Role Overview We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with deep experience in mobile automation and manual testing. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on automation expertise, and a strategic quality mindset. Youll be responsible for defining QA strategies, building robust automation frameworks, and ensuring our mobile apps perform flawlessly across devices. Responsibilities Define, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS apps (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest). Design comprehensive test strategies for both functional and non-functional testing. Own and drive end-to-end testing processes for mobile releases including regression, performance, and usability testing. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and user flows. Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, ensuring consistent quality practices. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable releases. Analyze logs, investigate failures, and provide actionable bug reports. Ensure high test coverage and maintain QA metrics and reporting. Drive continuous improvements in test strategies, tools, and processes. Requirements 7+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on mobile testing and automation. Deep knowledge of mobile automation tools: Appium, Detox, Espresso, or XCUITest. Strong experience with test frameworks and scripting in Python, Java, JavaScript, or Kotlin. Hands-on experience with testing tools such as BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, or Sauce Labs. Familiar with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise) and version control systems (Git). Solid understanding of REST APIs, performance testing, and debugging tools like Charles Proxy or Postman. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint ceremonies, and QA lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication ability. Nice to Have Experience testing AI-powered or data-intensive mobile applications. Exposure to analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Mixpanel). Knowledge of accessibility and security testing standards.
