Job Description
- Mandatory Skills Strong experience in test automation of web or mobile applications Experience with Selenium, Selenium Webdriver / Ranorex /Robot Framework/ Appium / SoapUI / RestAssured etc. Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks in any two of the below-mentioned : Java, JavaScript, C# Python SQL Basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Experience with Source Code Management Tools e.g. SVN, Git, Azure DevOps Knowledge of various testing methodologies and types e.g., unit, integration, system, regression. Experience in Load & Performance Testing and other Non-Functional Testing Understand Requirements and translate them into test cases. Experience in Agile Methodologies & JIRA / ADO Good in Stakeholder communication Excellent leadership skills and problem-solving abilities. Good To Have Skills ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing. Experience with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with other automation tools and frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber Experience with testing SOAP / API / Middleware projects Familiarity with Cloud technologies Hands-on experience in No-SQL language and Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and experience in DWH/Database Testing Key Responsibilities Define the scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing. Write test plans, design test cases, and develop test conditions and expected results to ensure thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements. Design and implement/enhance robust automation frameworks. Execute the automation testing process, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA engineers. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in test automation. Generate and communicate detailed test reports and metrics to track the quality and progress of the testing efforts. Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and UAT. (ref:hirist.tech),
