Job Description

Automation Test Engineer (Java Selenium API) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, Java Selenium, and performance testing, with additional knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes being a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Rest Assured for API testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java Selenium. Conduct performance testing and analysis, preferably using JMeter. Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create corresponding test plans. Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure quality standards are met. Work on the Linux platform to set up and manage test environments. (Good to have) Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. Required Skills: API Testing: Proficient in using Rest Assured jars for API testing. Automation Testing: Strong experience with Java Selenium. Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools, preferably JMeter. Linux: Experience working on the Linux platform. Kubernetes: Basic understanding and experience with Kubernetes (good to have). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of experience in automation testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
