Job Description

    Job Title: Trainee Engineer - Foundry Maintenance Department Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer to join our Foundry Maintenance department. As a Trainee Engineer, you will assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our foundry equipment and facilities, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Roles And Responsibilities Maintenance Support Assist senior maintenance engineers and technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and overhauls of foundry equipment. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and report to supervisors. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Participate in troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues, using problem-solving skills and technical knowledge. Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify root causes of problems and implement corrective actions. Documentation and Record-Keeping Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history. Update maintenance schedules and plans as needed. Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies. Participate in safety audits and training programs. Learning and Development Stay up-to-date with new technologies, equipment, and maintenance techniques. Apply knowledge and skills to improve maintenance practices and contribute to departmental goals. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer . 0-2 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or a related field. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and control systems. Desired Qualifications Prior experience in a foundry or metalcasting environment. Familiarity with maintenance software, such as CMMS or ERP systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
