Job Description

Experience- 7-8 years US Shift (5pm 2 am) Budget 16-17 lpa Job Summary: We are seeking a Reinsurance Accounting SME with prior experience in reinsurance financial management, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of various accounting functions related to reinsurance agreements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software, with a particular focus on reinsurance accounting processes and the ability to manage complex accounting tasks related to reinsurance agreements/treaties, team and stakeholder management. The key responsibilities include: Insurance & Reinsurance- Accounting Skillset- Fixed Assets Accounting Strong people management and team-handling skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and resolve issues while meeting SLAs. Expertise in GL & SL balance reconciliations, and providing subject matter expertise while liaising with multiple stakeholders, including reinsurers, TPAs, and actuaries etc Preparation of regulatory filings (Schedule S, Page 27, General Interrogatories), Fitch, S&P, AM Best surveys and related financial statements for Insurance companies Work with team to resolve their queries, issues/challenges and provide adequate support/mentorship to meet SLAs Manage reinsurance-related journal entries and adjustments in Sapiens, ensuring accuracy in financial records and proper account reconciliations. Monitor claims passed to reinsurers in Sapiens, ensuring real-time recording and reconciliation of recoveries. Utilize Sapiens reserve management tools to calculate, track, and report reinsurance reserves in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience in integrating financial data across departments into Sapiens, generating detailed reinsurance reports (P&L, claims analysis) for stakeholders. Prior experience in implementing or supporting Sapiens Finance functionality is highly preferred. Qualification PGDM/MBA finance,
