Job Description
- We are looking for someone who has both the requisite knowledge and execution skills to drive QA automation in a hands-on and independent manner. We believe it is now the right time to start investing in QA automation. We launched a year ago and up until now, we have primarily relied on manual testing. You would lead prioritization, execution, continuous improvement and further hiring in the team. You would be employee number one focusing on QA automation. More Details On Responsibilities Below QA Automation - You will have complete ownership over the preparation of the test automation solution, alongside leading the design of the automation framework. Continuous Improvement - In order to implement your automation strategy, testing plans and overall execution of the automation plan. You will also seek to continuously monitor and improve your script. Technical excellence - You will play a key role in adopting the right tools and frameworks for QA, ensuring sound execution and continuously identifying new and better ways to automate QA. Skill Development - Driving the entire QA team (including manual testers), to follow the right processes, collaborate and execute with discipline, and ultimately make quality a competitive More Detailed Requisites You speak the language : You have created Automation Frameworks for Web applications and backend, having setup these automations from scratch. And you have done this by implementing automation test cases using Cypress (Javascript). Knowledge about the QA process : You understand the function and different levels, types and methods of testing: unit, integration, system and acceptance, functional, regression and performance, black, grey and white box. You're a go-getter : They will give you the flexibility to experiment, and will NEVER micro-manage. However, we will expect extreme levels of ownership to be displayed. You understand that mundane tasks are part of the job - As much as the job is exciting, there will be times when you will have to get down and dirty and do tasks. You have the vision to grow with the company - We are not looking for someone to join and work with a short-sighted vision.
