What Youll Do (Your Day-to-Day Superpowers) 1 Custom Jewellery Design: Create designs based on customer requirements and stock needs. Handle custom orders with precision, ensuring timely completion with all specifications. Assist sales staff with customized designs, providing rough sketches and expert consultation. Visit showrooms regularly to understand customer preferences and showcase design portfolios. 2 Stock Jewellery Designing: Research trends and gather insights to create stock designs that enhance the brands collection. Present sketches for approval and refine concepts based on feedback. Innovate within given design briefs to craft high-quality, detailed, and aesthetically appealing jewellery. Work closely with CAD designers to ensure precise translation of sketches into 3D models. 3 Creativity & Trendspotting: Develop unique concepts for competitions to showcase brand excellence. Stay ahead of fashion trends, visiting lifestyle boutiques, exhibitions, and art shows for inspiration. Continuously update knowledge through design books, magazines, and industry media. 4 Productivity & Efficiency: Manage workload effectively, ensuring quality and speed in execution. Meet and exceed monthly design targets. Collaborate with senior designers and team members for creative brainstorming. 5 Archiving & Documentation: Save and organize hard & soft copies of designs as per company guidelines. Work with the Design Assistant to maintain a structured design archive. 6 Other Responsibilities: Assist with any additional design-related tasks as assigned by your manager. Who You Are (Our Dream Candidate) Experience: 2-5 years in jewellery design, fashion accessories, or luxury goods. Technical Skills: Expertise in jewellery sketching, CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, or JewelCAD), and Adobe Creative Suite. Creative Thinker: Ability to translate ideas into elegant and marketable jewellery pieces. Detail-Oriented: Precision in design, understanding proportions, and intricate detailing. Trend Savvy: Strong understanding of jewellery market trends and customer preferences. Team Player: Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams.
