- Title: Manager/Sr. Manager- Marketing API Date: Jun 15, 2024 Location: Acme Plaza - Office Company: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd Position: Marketing Lead - API Job Title: Manager/Sr. Manager, Marketing API Job Grade: G10/G9B Function: API Marketing & Sales Sub-function: Managers Job Title: Skip Level Managers Title: Function Head Title: Location: Mumbai No. of Direct Reports (if any) Job Summary Understanding API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) market for countries/regions assigned. must have prior experience in regulated pharma markets (such as USA, Europe, LATAM, APAC, Russia,MENA). Will require mapping of local pharmaceutical industry key players, API demand, supply, key regulatory, technical and commercial requirements and develop business with customers Areas of Responsibility Business Development: Understanding API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) market for countries assigned. Will require mapping of local pharmaceutical industry key players, API demand, supply, key regulatory, technical and commercial requirements. Mapping internal API product portfolio to identify key products to promote for each potential key customer. Connect with potential customers and pitch products, explore new opportunities, lead price negotiations and evaluate deals as per customer requirements. Sales and Marketing: Drive sales target achievement for the assigned region & identify business opportunities and devise marketing strategies to expand customer base, increase market share, and drive revenue growth. Manage key customer accounts and engage with key customers to maintain healthy long-term relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and service quality norms to build organizations brand value. Market intelligence Gather changing customer and market needs, competitor activity, and industry best practices that can be emulated. Sales allied functions Coordinate with other departments such as R&D, Operations, and SCM to plan orders, share inputs on capacity planning, and timely product delivery to fulfill customer requirements while ensuring adherence to state and country-level regulations. Travel Estimate 20-30% of the time Job Scope Internal Interactions (within the organization) Regulatory, finance, quality, R&D, SCM External Interactions (outside the organization) Customers, Industry experts, Pharma Industry Bodies Geographical Scope Regulated markets (such as USA, Europe, LATAM, APAC, Russia,MENA) According to candidates past experience Financial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority) Revenue targets will be provided based on past performance of the territory and future potential Job Requirements Educational Qualification B.Pharm + MBA Specific Certification Skills Presentation skills, communication and interpersonal skills, analytical mindset Experience Manager/Sr Manager : 7-12 years of past experience to Pharmaceutical industry will be desired,
