Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Sales & Business Development to lead and manage our sales efforts within the Pharma API sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities in the pharmaceutical and API markets, managing key customer accounts, and establishing long-term relationships with stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and has the drive to lead a team toward success. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for Pharma API products. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, contract manufacturers, and distributors in both existing and new markets. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners. Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly. Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and target potential clients effectively. Provide customers with in-depth technical knowledge of Pharma API products, applications, and benefits. Collaborate with internal teams to offer tailored solutions to client needs. Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships. Secure contracts and close high-value deals. Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide guidance to drive success. Work closely with R&D, production, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure timely product delivery, compliance with regulations, and alignment of business goals. Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other relevant standards. Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report on sales activities. Continuously analyze data to improve strategies and ensure the achievement of goals. Collect and analyze feedback from clients to enhance product offerings and customer service. Stay up-to-date with changes in the pharmaceutical industry to identify growth opportunities.
