Join Qualcomm as an Observability and Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on Open Source and Open Telemetry technologies. Youll design, implement, and maintain observability solutions, ensuring the scalability, availability, and performance of our applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design and operate observability solutions. Manage services for log collection, operational metrics, distributed tracing, and more. Automate systems for sustainable scaling and improved reliability. Provide Tier 3/4 on-call support for production issues. Technologies We Use: Languages: Java, Python, Go, Bash Tools: JIRA, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker Observability: DataDog, PagerDuty, Prometheus, Grafana Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or related field. Experience with open-source observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Proficiency in coding (e.g., C#, Java, Python). Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). OR 5+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelors degree. Physical Requirements: Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.
