Responsible for handling bookings for ocean Freight, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The Booking Executive must effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of booking operations. Responsibilities: Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies to secure space . Handle and process booking requests for sea freight. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding booking inquiries, providing timely and accurate information. Resolve any issues related to bookings, such as delays, cancellations, or discrepancies. Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction. Input and update booking details in the companys freight management system. Stay updated on industry changes and regulatory requirements to advise clients and internal teams appropriately. Coordinate with truckers and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth container pickup and return. Work closely with operations and logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules and routes. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance booking efficiency and reduce costs. Provide training and support to junior staff or new team members as needed.
