Designation: Resident Engineer - Data Center / Industrial Projects
Location : Mumbai
Experience : 8 to 15 Years
Job Description : 

We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee MEP execution, site coordination, and compliance for Data Centre Design & Construction projects.

 Key Skills:

1. Site Coordination & Compliance  Liaise between the clients site team and consultants to ensure contract adherence and regulatory compliance.

2. Project Monitoring & Reporting  Conduct site inspections, track progress, and generate weekly reports with quality metrics and findings.

3. Quality Assurance & Inspections  Oversee MEP execution, site acceptance tests (HV, MV, LV), and material inspections.

4. Design & Documentation Management  Maintain project documentation, track design modifications, and review shop drawings and submittals.

5. Stakeholder Coordination & Issue Resolution  Work closely with Construction Management (CM), Owners Engineer, and Contractors to resolve technical issues.

6. Non-Conformance & Compliance Audits  Identify deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions.

7. Post-Completion & Handover  Conduct punch-list inspections, review completed spaces, and validate as-built documentation.

8. Safety & Regulatory Compliance  Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and statutory regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

• Education: BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.

• Experience: 10-12 years in Data Centre Design & Construction, with expertise in site execution and coordination.

• Certifications: Membership in relevant Statutory or Trade Bodies (if required).

• Technical Expertise:

  • MEP execution & inspections

  • Design review & change management

  • Project documentation & compliance tracking

  • Handling RFIs, technical submittals, and shop drawings

• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant construction management and design tools.

 

• Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to coordinate teams, resolve issues, and provide progress updates.
