- Job Description: Immigration Specialist Position Title: Immigration Specialist Department: Human Resource- International Business Location: Ahmedabad- Corporate Office Reporting To: Vice President- Corporate HR Work Schedule: 3:00 pm to 12:00 Night. Salary: Open for discussion Bond -3 Years Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate with Immigration Attorneys: Act as the primary liaison between the company and immigration attorneys globally to oversee and manage all employee immigration cases. 2. Documentation and Case Preparation: Ensure all required documentation is prepared and reviewed before submission to attorneys, facilitating smooth and timely processing. 3. Compliance Oversight: Monitor compliance with immigration regulations by working closely with legal partners, ensuring adherence to both internal policies and external legal requirements. 4. Communication and Updates: Serve as the point of contact for HR teams and employees, providing regular updates on the progress of immigration cases and any changes in immigration policies. 5. Case Management and Tracking: Oversee the lifecycle of each immigration case, coordinating with attorneys to meet deadlines, minimize delays, and ensure timely renewals or approvals. 6. Policy Guidance and Training: Educate HR teams & migrating members on immigration policies, changes in laws, and best practices to ensure alignment with global compliance requirements. 7. Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance risks, proactively working with legal partners to mitigate them and address complex cases. 8. Reporting and Analytics: Track, compile, and report metrics related to immigration cases, processing times, and compliance issues to improve transparency and efficiency. Ensure timely renewals. 9. Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships and budgets with immigration attorneys and external consultants to maintain cost efficiency and service quality. 10. Visa coordination: Manage and facilitate the application process for travel visas for team members traveling worldwide, working with consulates and travel agencies to ensure successful and timely visa approvals Educational Background: Bachelors degree, or a related field. Certification in immigration or compliance management is a plus. Experience: 8-10 years of experience in immigration management, preferably in a corporate setting. Experience working with multiple jurisdictions and international teams. Skills: Strong knowledge of immigration laws, visa types L1A,L1B,H1B etc, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in using immigration management systems and software. Key Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Other Requirements: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.,
