The Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and infrastructure projects. This role involves creating innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, creativity, and an in-depth understanding of construction processes. Preferably designing Experience on AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Develop conceptual designs and detailed architectural drawings based on client needs and project specifications. Create 2D and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Conduct site analysis and consider environmental, structural, and aesthetic factors in designs. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, budget, and functional requirements. Present design concepts and gather feedback for revisions. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Project Coordination and Management: Develop project timelines and ensure designs are delivered on schedule. Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to the design and quality standards. Provide on-site guidance and address construction-related issues or design adjustments. Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into projects. Prepare documentation required for permits and approvals. Cost Estimation and Material Selection: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects. Recommend suitable materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design and budget. Work with vendors and suppliers to source materials. Team Collaboration: Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Guide junior architects and interns, providing feedback and mentorship. Collaborate with interior designers, landscape architects, and other specialists as required. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. Licensed Architect (or working towards licensure) as per local regulatory requirements. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and sustainable design principles.
