Time management- To oversee the work of CAD drafters, making sure that every drawing is legible and professional and adheres to applicable project standards. Managing projects- Needs to be approachable and manage a team to the best of his ability must be knowledgeable. Also, needs to ensure that the cost of the cad dept. is maintained as per the budget. Work Efficiency- To focus on production efficiency for the entire team of professional designers and ensure workflow runs smoothly. To build standard CAD processes, and review outputs. People management- Must be skilled at learning their teams individual strengths, building on their weaknesses, and delegating work to the appropriate team member. Staying competitive- Operational efficiency requires the right training, support, and integration and must ensure that the software. works and that people can learn how to use it, while also establishing. standards and best practices for productivity.
