Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Modify and update existing themes and plugins to meet evolving business requirements.
- Create responsive and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure a seamless user experience by optimizing site performance and usability.
- Work with PHP and MySQL to develop custom solutions and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain website features.
- Perform regular updates, backups, and security audits to ensure website stability and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
- Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Delivering engaging user experiences through responsive and accessible designs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of past projects
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap , Material UI.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of WordPress themes/page builders (like DIVI, Element or WPBakery, ACF Pro).
- Proficient in using wordpress plugins including SEO plugins (Yoast Seo, Rank Math), security plugins.(iThemes Security, Wordfence), Performance plugins (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache ) ,Backup Restore plugins (like UpdraftPlus, All-in-One WP Migration).
- Hands-on experience with the latest versions of WordPress (6.4) and ability to adapt to future releases.
- Experience with WooCommerce development
- Knowledge of Custom Theme Development/Theme Customization
- Knowledge of Custom Plugin Development/Plugin Customization
- Familiarity with multisite multilingual configurations
- Knowledge of web hosting environments and server configurations
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Experience converting static designs into responsive layouts .
- Knowledge of custom CMS development and project requirement gathering.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
Good to Have :
- Advanced CSS architecture knowledge using server-side SCSS.
- Strong written and verbal communication for client interactions.
- Leadership experience, such as project management or team supervision .
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization .
- Exposure to international projects or global clients.
