Mechanical Engineer (Diploma) with AutoCAD @ Oracle

Job Description

Design & Drafting: Create detailed mechanical drawings and designs using AutoCAD, including 2D and 3D models of mechanical components and systems. Develop and modify mechanical schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings based on project requirements. Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and company-specific guidelines. Collaboration with Engineering Team: Work closely with engineers and other departments to translate concepts into functional designs. Assist in the preparation of technical documents, including material specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions. Communicate with senior engineers and team members to resolve design issues and improve processes. Design Modifications & Revisions: Revise and update mechanical designs based on feedback, changes in specifications, or production requirements. Ensure all changes are reflected in updated AutoCAD drawings and communicate modifications effectively to the team. Quality Control & Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards. Participate in design reviews and assist in the implementation of design changes for improved functionality or manufacturability. Technical Support & Documentation: Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly stages, offering design clarification when necessary. Maintain proper documentation and records of design work, revisions, and approvals. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Address design or mechanical issues that arise during the project or production phases. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify the root cause of problems and propose corrective actions.
